AFRICAN CHRISTIAN CAMPING (ACC)
African Christian Camping (ACC) is a network of individual and corporate camp practitioners committed to promoting adventure programming and camping to its optimum potential in Sub-Saharan Africa, beginning with the East African region. We believe that camp programming done well can be a kingpin to maximizing the potential of this generation of youth and children. ACC networks those who do camping on our continent, connects them with likeminded others around the world, and provides a platform for sharing of resources and skills. ACC is the 19th full member of Christian Camping International represented in over 60 countries around the world.

ACC Conference Highlights
The ACC 2011 conference kicked-off well, and as promised we did have much interaction, sharing and networking, all in a ‘small’ paradise called Wendo Retreat and Arboretum… to say the least-
Some of the programs Delegates benefitted from include;
- Camp safety and First Aid
- Site Development -for camp facilities
- Fund Raising for Camp Programs
- Camp Basics
- And a special focus on the Implications of the Youth Bulge in Africa
This year, we plan to have even bigger events and programs that will specifically address areas of interest for camp practitioners and programmers… If you would like us to address a particular interest at hand, feel free to write to us and tell us about it. You can also be a member of ACC and benefit from these and more programs as well as enjoy exposure of your program through ACC channels and networks, as we combine excellence and camping in Africa and beyond.
